Directions to Drumnahay lodge


From Belfast:

Take the M2 motorway out of Belfast, signposted for Ballymena, Ballymoney, and Coleraine.Nearing Ballymena, look for slip road off M2, signposted A26 for Ballymena, Ballymoney. Follow along until you reach Coleraine.
Approaching Coleraine, look for signs A2 indicating Castlerock, Downhill, Benone. This is the Seacoast road. Follow A2 beyond Downhill and Benone until you come to the small village of Bellarena. This is about 12 miles. Carry along until you reach Bellarena level crossing. You will see Bellarena train station in front of you on the right-hand side. Immediately before the level crossing, there is a cement lane on the right.. Don’t go over the crossing, as you will have gone too far.
Turn into the cement lane on your right, immediately before the level crossing. Keep on the lane which is about half a mile long. There are two bends and a gate which will be left open for you. Keep driving along to the lane’s end where you will see Drumnahay Lodge emerging out of the distance.

From Derry:

Take A2 signposted for Coleraine. From the Waterside bridge, this means to turn left onto the A2. Carry along through 6 roundabouts. At next roundabout, take the 1st exit onto the B69 which is the Seacoast road, signposted for Castlerock, Downhill, Benone. Turn left into Seacoast Road B69 which is also indicated as A2. Follow along for 5-6 miles until you reach Bellarena station which will be on your left. Drive over the level crossing, then immediately after, turn left into a cement lane which is about half a mile long. There are two bends and a gate which will be left open for you. Keep going until you reach the end of the lane. You will see Drumnahay Lodge before you. Then you know you have arrived!
